Five short screens, four small decisions, and your gathering is out in the world. Here is all of it, in plain words.
Creating your event
Step 1 of 5
1
The basics
What it is, what it is called, and when and where it happens.
CategoryEvent nameDate and timeAddressSub categoriesTime zone
Solid is needed now. Dashed you can add later.
Two switches live here. Online swaps the address for a link. Private keeps it off the map, so only your link opens it.
2
The details
Where people decide to trust you. Be specific, and say who is guiding: a yoga teacher, a ceremony guide, a therapist, a DJ.
What happens, start to finish
What to bring and what to wear
Food, tea, anything shared
How they will feel walking out
Add your banner, the space you will practice in, or photos from past gatherings. The first one shows when your link is shared.
3
Tickets
Free or paid, and how many fit in the room. Free? Flip the switch and this screen is done.
Free or paidSpaces availableTicket namePrice and currencyWhat it includes
Add as many ticket types as you like. One that is just the session, one with the cacao and the mat included, one for couples. Each with its own price and its own list.
4
Socials and tags
Add your socials so people can follow you and reach you. Add tags about what you do, so seekers trust you faster and find you more often.
InstagramWhatsAppWebsitePhoneEmailTags
All optional. There is a Skip for now button at the bottom.
5
And you are done!
Add your name and your email, and your event goes live. Not signed up yet? Your account is created the moment you post it.
Your nameYour email
No password to invent. Type your email, we send a link, you are in. Nothing to remember, nothing to lose.
Along the way
Four small decisions
Free or paid
Charging, or not
Free needs nothing else from you. To sell tickets you connect Stripe once, and guests pay by card on your page.
In person or online
A space or a link
Online swaps the address for your meeting link, and that link goes only to the people who booked.
Public or private
Open, or by invitation
Public puts you on the map and in search. Private keeps you out of both, and the only way in is the link you send.
Your space or not
Your own place, or anywhere
A park, a rented room, a friend's studio: just type the address. Your own space is different. Register it once from your dashboard, under My Spaces, and from then on you attach it to any event with one tap and it brings its address, photos and map pin with it. It also gets its own page people can follow.
The money
How you get paid
Listing
Free. Publishing costs nothing, and a free event stays free from beginning to end.
Our fee
5% of each ticket sold. No monthly fee, no charge for publishing, nothing at all when your event is free.Far below what the big ticketing platforms take from you.
Stripe
To sell tickets you connect a Stripe account from your dashboard. A few minutes, once. Stripe charges its own small processing fee per card payment, separate from ours.
When it arrives
Money moves as tickets sell, not after the event. Your first payout is held by Stripe for around seven days from your first sale. After that it settles on a rolling schedule a few days behind each purchase, so tickets bought in advance reach your bank before the day itself. The schedule is yours to see and change in your Stripe dashboard.
If plans change
Cancellations and refunds
If you cancel
Everyone who paid gets their money back in full. Tell them yourself too, so nobody hears it from an email alone.
If a guest cannot come
That is between you and your guest. Set your own terms, write them in your description, decide case by case. Once someone has arrived and their ticket has been scanned at the door, that place is used and cannot be refunded.
Our part
We carry the payment and the page. The gathering is yours, and so is the agreement you make with the people in the room.
Say it up front
One line in your description saves every awkward conversation later. Do you refund, until when, and can a place be passed to a friend.
Why here
Not another generic events site
They find you on the map
Every public gathering gets a pin. Someone new to the area finds you without ever knowing your name.
The right people, already looking
You sit beside ceremony, breathwork and somatic practice. Nobody here needs convincing that your evening is worth it.
A page you are proud to send
Your photos, your words, calm and beautiful. It opens well in a WhatsApp group without you touching anything.
What you build stays yours
A profile, a space page, people who follow both. Between one gathering and the next, that circle is still there.
It travels past your feed
Gatherings here can be picked up in the Holisteek Guide, the newsletter and our channels, reaching people already reading about this world.
A small fee, and free to be here
5% when a ticket sells. Your profile, your space page and your map pin cost nothing. (Stripe takes its own small processing fee, separate from us.)
Questions hosts ask
In case you get stuck
Do I need an account before I start?
No. Build the whole thing as a stranger. We ask for your name and email only at the end, and that is what creates your account.
I started and had to stop. Did I lose it all?
No. The form keeps what you typed as you write, photo included. Go check your email, close the tab, come back later on the same browser, and it is all still there.
Once you have published something, unfinished events live under Drafts in your dashboard.
I do not have a studio. Mine is in a park.
Very common, and completely fine. Type the address of the park or the corner where you meet. You do not need to own a space to host here.
I do have a space. Do I retype the address every time?
No. Register it once under My Spaces in your dashboard. After that it shows up as a button when you create an event, and one tap fills in the address, the photos and the map.
It also gets its own page, so people find you between gatherings.
My studio is already here and I did not put it there.
It came from our worldwide directory of wellness spaces. Open it and press Claim this space. Once we have checked it is yours, the page is yours to edit and host from.
Can I change things after I publish?
Yes. Open the event from My Events and edit it the way you built it.
The one thing that stays put is the price of a ticket already sold. That sale keeps the price it was bought at.
If you move the date or the address, tell your guests yourself so nobody arrives at the wrong place.
How do I reach the people who are coming?
Your event has a Guests page with who booked and how many places are left, and you can email all of them at once from there.
For something bigger than one event, use Announcements. You write once and it reaches everyone following you and your space, with one of your upcoming events attached if you like.
I only want my own circle to see it.
Switch on Private in step one. It stays off the map and out of search, and the only way in is the link you send.
What language should I write in?
English, if you can. Holisteek is read worldwide, nothing is translated automatically, and English reaches the most people looking for a gathering like yours.
If the room itself runs in another language, say so plainly, and add a few lines in that language too.
Something is broken and I am stuck.
Write to us and say which step you are on. Nothing you typed is lost while you wait.
Ready
Your first gathering is one click away
Every circle you open adds to something bigger: a wellness community that is conscious, present and a little more alive than the day before. Yours belongs in it.
