Qigong

Qigong is an ancient Chinese mind-body practice that combines gentle movements, controlled breathing, and focused attention to cultivate and regulate the body’s vital energy, known as qi. It has been practiced for thousands of years and is rooted in traditional Chinese medicine, martial arts, and meditative traditions.

Movements in Qigong are typically simple, repetitive, and deliberate, often performed standing or seated. Compared to Tai Chi, which follows longer and continuous movement sequences, Qigong exercises are usually shorter and more static, focusing on specific postures or motions repeated multiple times. The practice emphasizes relaxation, breath coordination, and internal awareness, and is commonly used to support energy balance, mobility, and mental clarity.
